10 MW Diesel Power Plant in Boynton, South Africa

This 10 MW standby diesel power plant was delivered under a turnkey EPC contract by Matelec in collaboration with local partner Thuthuka. The contract was signed with Boynton Platinum (Pilanesberg Group) and successfully completed in 2009, enhancing the region’s power reliability.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries supplied the seven 16R-PTA gensets, which form the core of the plant’s operations. Melec PowerGen provided essential support to Matelec throughout the engineering and execution phases, ensuring the project was delivered on time and to the highest standards.
